I have been interested in carpentry and creating things since I was a very young child. One of my earliest memory’s was a toolbox for Christmas from my Grandfather with ‘Handy Andy’ stencilled on the side. I qualified for my City & Guilds in carpentry in 1990 and also did a City & Guilds in interior design in 2000. I worked making radiator covers and joinery for my family firm till 2003 when I went self employed. I joined the Guild of Master Craftsmen in 2008. I’d like to think that I specialise in fitted furniture and storage solutions such as wardrobes, alcove shelving, cupboards as well as bespoke furniture. Have a look at the pictures on the website and if there’s nothing that looks like the idea you had then contact me and I can take a look at it.

I also carry out all kinds of carpentry work such as door hanging, decks, flooring skirtings etc.

If it’s wood anything’s possible!

Thanks,

Andrew Smith.
