Dresser unit

This is one of my favourite pieces of furniture I’ve constructed. It’s a dresser constructed in timber and MDF with ten opening doors and open shelving in the middle in a Shaker style. There’s a nice big chunky cornice at the top making it a real feature of the room. The customer had an uneven alcove to cover and lots of toys to store, so this was the solution.

Toy chest

This is a toy chest constructed in timber and MDF to a Shaker style. The unit was to match a dresser that I had made. The area it was in was at the most strange angles so the picture may look out of square but isn’t really! The lid lifted up and is held in place by a hydraulic type stay so that it doesn’t come crashing down onto little fingers.

Wall panelled wardrobes

This is a set of wardrobes with six opening doors and six opening drawers mad to look like a wall of panelled timber. The doors open on a touch latch where you push the door in and it clicks out to open on a spring catch. The wardrobes were constructed in timber and MDF in a Shaker style with panel moulding fitted. The cup of tea in the picture is optional…..(!)
