This was an MDF Shaker style unit in a front room alcove where the width was too great to have a single shelf so I added uprights to strengthen the shelves.

Here’s a nice alcove shelving unit with cupboard at the bottom. It’s got a solid oak top ( very heavy believe me!) with brass adjustable shelving inserts.

Standard framed alcove bookcase flush with the alcove depth. This one has Shaker style doors on the base and some nice random uprights on the shelves to give them more support.
